Dr Smitha ThurairatnamDr Smitha joined the practice in 2017. She works every day and is actively involved with the running of the practice. She holds a particular interest in the management and care of the elderly and frail, as well as with children.

Dr Kirrija PrabaharanKirrija joined the practice in October 2006. She holds a diploma in sexual and reproductive healthcare, and is fully competent in long acting reversible contraception techniques. She is also fluent in Russian, Tamil and Sinhalese.

The practice nurses are available by appointment. Their numerous tasks include:
• Taking blood for testing
• Infant and adult immunisations
• Cervical smears
• Travel vaccinations
• Dressings and removal of stitches
• Ear syringing
• Blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, COPD etc check-ups
• Sexual Health Advice
They also assist the doctors in minor surgery and are always available to offer professional advice. Appointments may be made by telephoning the surgery.
